Keď už sme pri kráse, tak k nej jednoznačne patrí aj bižutéria a doplnky. Existuje veľa obchodov, kde sa dajú zohnať naozaj krásne a skvostné šperky, farebná bižutéria alebo luxusné kabelky. To však pre milovníka módy nemusí byť až takým potešením, ak zistí, že na nejakej spoločenskej udalosti už niekto iný má ten istý doplnok. To vie človeka tak trochu aj znechutiť.

Pre tých bohatších existuje riešenie a to síce také, že si môžu dať navrhnúť doplnok (šperk, kabelku a i.), dokonca aj šaty a topánky nejakému návrhárovi a majú istotu, že nikto iný takú vec mať nebude, lebo sa jedná o originál. Pre nás obyčajných ľudí však tiež existuje riešenie a to vo forme hand-made výrobkov. Niektorí z nás, ktorí sú šikovnejší, si dokážu takú vec navrhnúť a spracovať aj sami, ale pre tých lenivších a menej nadaných našťastie existujú stránky, ktoré združujú hand-made výrobcov a predávajú ich výrobky. Tu máme tiež záruku v tom, že je to originálny kus, pretože sa väčšinou jedná o ručnú prácu, ktorá sa zvyčajne nedá zopakovať. Dokonca aj keby výrobca chcel, tak mu to jednoducho nedá, aby nový kus nejako nepozmenil.

A nemusí to byť práve hand-made z Talianska, pretože aj tu doma máme skvelých a nadaných ľudí, ktorých to jednoducho baví a robia to hlavne pre radosť seba a svojich blízkych. Samozrejme ručná práca je drahá a mali by sme ju vedieť aj oceniť. Nielen tým, že uznáme, ako sa nám hand-made výrobok veľmi páči, ale aj tým, že podporíme výrobcu tým, že si jeho výrobok kúpime. To je najväčšie ocenenie, ktoré hand-made výrobca môže získať: Nie pre tie peniaze, ale pre pocit z toho, že svoju prácu vykonal dobre a urobil svojim výrobkom niekomu radosť. Je krásne byť hrdý na niečo, čo človek vytvoril sám a vlastnoručne.
